Freaking HAUNTED by the scenario of Cassie falling for the Mimic's act in the elevator and she comes back from it so, so, SO freaking scared but also so so SO freaking biased and spiteful and ANGRY she tries getting back at Gregory in the way that would hurt him even more than just 'paying in the same coin', by taking away from him exactly what he loves the most by trying to get Freddy destroyed. 💀 (definitely not a route I think Cassie would truly dive into but boy ain't it an interesting one none the less! 👀)

It also doubles as a way to free Roxy and the others from Freddy as well!! Two birds one stone!!

However... I've never heard the saying 'paying in the same coin' so I'm not entirely sure what it means, but I can take a pretty good guess. Not to be contrarian but what makes you think destroying Freddy wouldn't be doing the same thing Gregory did? He destroyed Roxy, Chica and Monty, and it was his voice telling him to deactivate Roxy for good to come and save him. After shutting her down, and her coming back to throw herself at Mimic for Cassie, Gregory tried to make it all for nothing by dropping her.

All of Roxy's damage falls on his shoulders, both before and after Cassie came into the picture. He didn't even care, did he? And neither did Freddy so really, this is the best vengeance she can hope for. She deals with the animatronic that Roxy keeps saying she'll kill if she ever sees him again, and hits Gregory where it really fucking hurts. Two revenge plans one stone!

And you're so right, Cassie would probably not go down that road... But ya know she might at least be a little tempted given Roxy's aggression over it. She keeps giving her ideas damn it she doesn't want them!!! Roxy can take them and do whatever she wants with them, Cassie doesn't wanna do it!!! And it works out cause Roxy doesn't have the fucking balls to go all the way with a murder plan anyway so no one gets hurt!!!

I guess that's a lose lose scenario ngl though...

This reminds me of a scenario I had the idea for a little bit ago when we were last talking about this stuff! (That got a bit long here so I'll add a read more for convenience)

The idea is that Vanessa, Gregory and Freddy return as quick as they can to try and save Cassie and instead find Roxy, once again guarding the door, Mini swarm in the shadows around them. She's obviously more damaged than before so it's a bit more difficult, but she's doing her best not to fall off the barriers she's stood on over the door and I've just had the idea of Minis holding onto her in the dark like training wheels. Aside from them, she's completely alone.

Vanessa talking is a shock to her and she's beyond happy to hear she's okay and most importantly, was freed. Surprisingly touched by her running to help her too... Just fucking snaps at Gregory and Freddy to shut the fuck up whenever they say anything cause she doesn't give a flying shit what they have to say. Vanessa hurries though, asking how she got away from that thing down there and tells her that Gregory's friend Cassie was down there too, what happened??

Yeah uh. Roxy says nothing for a while and Gregory gets impatient and tries to run at the door. The Minis grab him and the swarm just kinda take him away, literally up the fucking wall and take some pictures with an old Fazcam so Roxy can see it later lmao she's actually devastated she can't see this happening right now. Anyway, Roxy's like "what do you THINK happened?" and since she won't say anything else, they naturally, assume the fucking worst. She doesn't correct them or say another word. Just tells Freddy and Gregory that they've done enough fucking damage and to get out before she throws them out...

Oh yeah Gregory is fucking pissed. Why didn't she save her?! Why is Roxy out here when Cassie isn't?! What kind of useless animatronic is she that she couldn't save one kid?! What, is she only good at killing kids?! Is that it?! He's so fucking mad and Roxy just lets him rant and rave, the Minis stopping him for her every time he makes a run at the door until Freddy takes him away. He says he's disappointed in her, but that he's not surprised and that makes her seethe but she doesn't say anything until she hears Vanessa leaving. She stops her and when they're alone, she tells Vanessa the truth.

Cassie is in bad shape. Mimic is dead and they barely made it out, but her dad took her to hospital a little before they got here. Vanessa - who was in tears already - is so fucking relieved, but then asks why Roxy didn't say anything earlier. She tells her the truth as she knows it. That Cassie was here trying to save him. That Mimic lured her here as him, and at the end, Gregory said he couldn't risk being followed, and dropped the fucking lift with Cassie in it.

Now that doesn't make sense to Vanessa. She may not have been there for that last bit but they didn't rush all the way over here for nothing. Roxy can't exactly answer why he'd want to come back here, but she reminds her what he and Freddy did to all of them and points out that this would hardly have been out of the ordinary for him.

And so, you now have a situation where Vanessa doesn't know what to believe. She knows Roxy wouldn't lie about something like that and even if she did, she's a fucking awful liar. But she's clearly angry enough to let him think Cassie is dead and not give a shit... And she says it's to make sure he doesn't try it again so she's also asking Vanessa not to say a word. She can't do that! She can't just let a kid think his friend is dead because of him! ... But she's right in thinking this may not be completely out of the ordinary for him... But he wouldn't do that to someone he would run to the rescue of, right?? Gregory wouldn't do that, she knows him well enough to know that now!!

You see what's happened here? Now Vanessa is in the middle. If she doesn't say a word, Gregory will forever think Cassie got killed trying to save him. If she tells him and it turns out Roxy is right, then what if he tries again?

I feel she'd tell him, but no matter what, Roxy just straight up telling the truth to Vanessa, his current guardian, and not to him would cause so much pain. He could have been there screaming at her and she didn't say a fucking word because in her mind, this is nothing compared to what he's put all of them and Cassie through. And what happens if she does die in hospital?? What then?? She can't lie and say she's fine when she's not anyway!! She doesn't know shit!!

But ya get me with this? It's emotional revenge enacted at the end of Roxy's very long day in the pizzeria graveyard. Minimal effort required, with Vanessa unfortunately in the middle, but Vanessa is always welcome here. Roxy won't blame her for whatever she chooses to do, because at the end of the day, Roxy's done her job. Whether Gregory or Freddy believes it or not, she did her job.

She's really fucking glad she couldn't see his reaction though, she wouldn't have been able to keep her mouth shut if she had. Like most of the others, she can't bare to see a kid in genuine pain and she knows damn well how much her silence caused...

But yeah, you just got me thinking about that again. It's a spur of the moment thing for Roxy, inspired partly by the fact she's not good with words and doesn't really know how to approach this anyway. It's been a long day and her lack of words just turned into this and she's not even a little bit sorry. I think Cassie would appreciate the sentiment of keeping her safe from a second attempt on her life. And feel a bit bad that she takes some satisfaction in hearing how devastated Gregory was over it...

The picture of him being held from his ankles on the ceiling by the Minis is pretty good revenge too. They're proud of that one lmao

Any time a post of mine about afton got a decent amount of notes (aside from fanart) there'd usually be comments on it complaining about how "those" fans [note: i am one of "those" fans] have no idea what his personality actually is, and that they water him down, woobify and mischaracterize him, all while listing things off that are just genuinely part of william's character. while yes, there are fans that DO do that, the stuff they talk about is almost never an actual example of this happening. this is likely due to people not viewing him as a person and just a bland cold serial killer with no personality whatsoever

obviously movie william is not 1:1 with game or book william, but they're gonna be similar in personality. so heres some stuff ive seen people complain was "mischaracterization" thats present in the movie:

hes emotional/sentimental and actually cares about things - william calls the owner of freddys sentimental when talking to mike about the pizzeria (and we all know the owner is william), he visibly regrets/is shocked by the fact he stabs vanessa, he gets really worked up when things dont go his way, very quick to anger, etcetera. one could argue that william is lying about being sentimental and just wants to give an excuse for why the place is still around, but there'd be no reason to do that, considering mike has no idea anyone even died there, let alone the fact HE killed the kids. we know williams sole motive for keeping the place around definitely isnt just sentimental reasons, but i doubt that what he said doesnt have at least an ounce of truth to it. he holds onto trophies from his kills as well if him keeping garretts toy plane is anything to go off of

he actually likes bunnies and has an affinity for them - he has a rabbits foot on his keyring and has a letter/paper holder that's rabbit shaped. the letter holder isnt actually in any shots, but it was present on set on his desk

his personality isnt one note and dull/cold, and hes superstitious & a little offputting/jittery - the rabbits foot on his keyring ties into this idea, because if he actually believes it to be a good luck charm, then it shows some "quirkiness" for lack of a better term that people adamantly refuse to admit is in his personality. this also shows how hes superstitious, which is an idea thats present in the books, and people also like to pretend he isnt. he pokes fun at mike in a somewhat lighthearted way multiple times, he has a has a FRAMED PARTICIPATION AWARD on his wall for christs sake. the kids hair colors match the animatronics they were stuffed into (minus bonnie). he matched them. he made them match he paired them up for fun. not only that, but he gets visibly nervous and antsy when he realizes who mike is, and clearly really wants him to take the job. gets kind of weird. gets a kinda strange. he likes when things match afterall (symmetry, my friend!)

he's theatrical and over the top in personality on purpose (this is also essentially an argument for the last point) - in the books he goes on and on about performance and how he viewed both dave miller & springtrap as characters he plays, and i seriously wouldn't doubt that it'd be the same here, considering how cartoonishly evil he is while wearing the springbonnie suit. the voice changer, the little flourishes he adds to his speech, the fact he wipes off the knife when there wasnt any blood on it in the first place. for what. for what reason other than for pizzazz and intimidation points. the "oh, this is going to be so much fun!" line, and especially his playful demeanor disappearing the second he takes off the mask

he cares about his kids/likes kids - his expression when he stabs vanessa and she falls to the ground says enough i think. obviously hes not a GOOD parent, but being a good parent and caring about your kids are two wildly different things. you can be abusive and still care. most abusers dont process that they are abusers but thats a conversation for another time. william prioritizes himself over anyone else, but he still looks shocked after he stabs his daughter, and i refuse to blame that on bad acting because its MATTHEW LILLARD. the training tape for mike also states that he enjoyed entertaining kids, and yes, while that could be a lie, do you seriously think the creator of what essentially is chuck e cheese would actually despise children. the fact he gives garretts toy plane to vanessa could be a point toward him in this department as well, though its also just as likely he collects them as trophies. i like to think its a mix of both

i included these points specifically because i also have a plethora of evidence for them from both the books and the games, and theyre the ones i most commonly see people stating are unrealistic for afton.

its not a lot of stuff, but its not like he has a lot of screentime. lets be real

i do ADORE how egotistical and shortsighted they made him in the movie, though everyone can generally agree on that being a staple trait of his

Can you write something please where mike has a second younger sister she is older than Abby like 14 years and is allowed to go with mike to his work one day when Max babysits Abby because she wanted to know what he is doing and maybe help him with it but it ends Mike being alseep again and her getting bored and she looks around and Mike hears a screaming like in the movie with Abby only the reader is for real in danger and is scared and apologizes for running of later and Mike is able to protect her he manages to distract the animatronics and reader looks comfort in mike he will just be overly protective and comforting about her with hugging and stuff. Like Fluff and Angst please ^^. The reader is safe in the end as Mike and she doesn't understand what is happening why the animatronics can move and what they want but Mike protects her.

A/N: of course I can write about that love! You're actually the first FNAF reqs i've had, i had a liiittllee trouble writing this but, i tried my best and i like the way this came out.

You were currently babysitting Abby because max was buzy, you mainly sat in the living room watching cartoons with her.

You were curious about what goes on at Mike's job. You asked him if you could tag along when he got home that morning. He said no, thinking it was dangerous.

You called max after he left, and drove to his work and snook around, you didn't know how he didn't see you on the cameras. You found him asleep in his office, so you decided to explore.

You found the "showtime" button, and pressed it. (Stupid) and upon seeing you, an adult, the Animatronics went into kill mode, cupcake jumped at you, bitting your leg.

You screamed in pain, freddy then picked you up and threw you, which didn't mess up cupcake.

The impact on the floor knocked the breath out of you. Foxy ran by and slit open your bicep, all the way to your shoulder. You tried to shake off cupcake, but failed. They continued torturing you.

"AAHHH! GET OFF, AGHH! NO!" you screamed at the top of your lungs, (somewhat like when mike was bitten by cupcake)

Meanwhile with Mike, he heard screaming in his dream and woke up quickly, he ran out to find who was screaming. And upon seeing you laying on your back with cupcake bitting the living shit out of your leg, sitting in a pool of blood.

"MIKE, HELP! AHH, MIKE!" You screamed as he ran in, freddy tried to kill him but mike got him with his tazer, and helped take care of most, but he couldn't get bonnie and Chika.

He helped you up and ran to his office, you fell to the floor. Mike was holding your wounds. You pointed at the screens. Mike ran over to see what it was.

It was Bonnie and chika, with cupcake. They let cupcake go into the vents, Mike blocked it with his back. He used all of his strength to not let cupcake get to you.

Cupcake Eventually left. Mike returned to you, who was laying flat on your back in a pool of your blood.

He moved you to his lap, your head resting on his thigh. He pet your hair softly, "im sorry mike" you said through tears. "Its okay, youre gonna be ok. Dont worry, i got you" he reassured you in a tight hug. "Dont worry, i got you. Ill protect you"

He slowly let you down, running quickly he ran and got supplies, and called Vanessa. (I ship them so hard)

She arrived while he was wrapping you up, he didn't even let her touch you for a while since you were both panicking.

She helped Mike wrap you up while he had you in his lap, supporting your upper body. He played with your hair while whispering words of comfort.

They got you to a hospital where you stayed for a few hours, before Mike got you home with a broken leg, but sadly he had to go back to work. When he returned home he saw you hadn't moved since he last saw you.

It was a pretty long recovery but, Mike and Abby helped you through it. They were both very supportive when you were recovering.

FNAF SPOILERS

okay so, i know everyone is talking about it already but I'm just gonna do a quick list of my theories n beliefs bc i want to keep em all together and also why not so here we go!!

mike and garret's father is henry emily! hes the same man working on the animatronics on the training tape, and it makes sense that william would kidnap him and that garrett would be so unphased and willing to get into a vehicle with him.

garrett will be the puppet. im loving the theory that instead of michael being an afton like he is in the games, he's an emily. garrett in this instance would be charlie's replacement in the movies. his story follows the same timeline that charlies does: locked away from their protector (mike/the puppet), taken in by someone they know (william) and then killed by him. the puppet music plays at the end of the film, and right after that, letters spell out "come find me." this is garrett, who has possessed the marionette and is speaking to mike!

the nevada dream isn't real. dreams can be foggy, memories can be worse. mike tells vanessa and his coworker that theres a dream theory, where he can go back into his memories and look for details. but what if hes so focused on trying to get to the details of the car and the man that he's forgetting the big ones? what if he never actually went to nevada? it might seem silly and farfetched but there was a lot of emphasis on the soda spilling, the ketchup spraying, etc. i kept thinking it would go back to the pizzaria. so what if michael blocked out the pizzaria entirely? what if he saw garrett be taken by william? in the games, william comes out of his car, kills charlie, and leaves. what if in the movie universe he instead took garrett and left with him in his car? what if that part of the memory is true, but in a. desperate attempt to block the memory of freddy's he forgot it entirely? he seems unfamiliar when talking to vanessa, who is shocked he's never heard of it, since it was so popular. what if the reason she was shocked was because she knew he had been here before?

vanessa and mike knew each other as kids. vanessa is very vague about her childhood and about her knowing garrett, but she does reveal that she not only met him, but was at the pizzaria often (hence the photo and all her seemingly good memories, like being excited about the band playing). if mike is an emily, it would make sense that he was at the pizzaria with garrett and his parents, and that vanessa had known him. which leads to the question of: did she see when william killed garrett? did she help him? she's smiling in the picture with her father and his plane. did she have no idea until it was too late?

henry emily will come back. mike says that his mom died and his father couldn't handle it, so he left. im not sure how they're going to fit so much into three movies, but my hope is that the trilogy they've planned will end with Pizzaria Simulator. and if this is the case, henry emily would have to be present for it to happen.

abby will possess baby. i really dont have much on this i just think it would be super sick if it followed what would have been her fate if she was an afton, and if she's elizabeths movie counterpart it would make sense for her to have the same ending.

i have a lot more theories and hopes, im actually working out a mini timeline for what i think will happen in the movies bc i think it would be super cool but!! for now thats all i got thats super major to me. im so glad fnaf has had this resurgence in theories im having the time of my life i love thinking about this kind of stuff

Five nights at Freddy's movie review

Spoiler free version:

I finally saw the FNaF movie (since it premiered here like a week later) and I really wanna talk about it.

It was fun. It's its own story that has some similarities to the games but it works well on its own which is a good thing imo.

It has a good pacing and I didn't get bored.

There are bunch of hints and easter eggs in reference to the games, like a guy is wearing a Midnight Motorist sweater or a dinner is named after Sparky the Dog, a hoax in early fnaf days.

It has violence but it's not too gory, most stuff happens off screen or in shadows.

I also liked the final solution, it was well established.

I do have 2 complains

1. I think most relationships needed more establishment.

2. One character kinda confuses me on their motive.

Overall I'd give it 4/5, though you'll get more of it if you're a fnaf fan.

And some tips. Watch it at home if you can or pick a later date. The movie theater was crowded and I think it hindered my enjoyment.

When you see Sparky's diner, pay attention to the waiter. You won't regret it.

And wait till the end of all credits.

I think Mike and Abby needed a bit more time together or thinking of each other to make the scene where Mike realizes how much she means to him more impactful.

I feel like we were told rather shown she likes her brother.

Same goes for relationship between her and aunt Jane. We're told once she doesn't like her but it isn't enough to make her turn on Mike believable to me.

And finally Vanessa and William. The ending implies she's scared of him but we never are shown why.

This segways nicely into my other complain. Vanessa feels inconsistent. She starts out as a friendly police officer who knows tad too much about Freddy's and is revealed to be William's daughter.

What I got is that she vaguely warns the guards of the danger but doesn't tell them what it is. When the animatronics are friendly, she just let's Mike and Abby vibe there but when she learns Mike used Abby to get info on Garrett's kidnapper (her dad) she forbids him from taking Abby there ever again. I'm guessing this is to protect her dad.

But I think we should have had a flashback to her childhood and maybe a scene where she's terrified of going to the pizzeria but the she sees a drawing of Mike and Abby a decides to help.

But enough about stuff I didn't like and more about stuff I loved, in no particular order.

Actors are all really great and they did a fantastic job.

The opening credits are in style of old arcade games, just like in fnaf 2. It genuinely made me so happy to see it.

The cupcake mauling a man was both hilarious and terrifying. You go Carl!

The animatronics are all really expressive, especially Chica, when she smuggly sends Carl the Cupcake to murder a man or when she winks at Mike. Or when Freddy was looking for Mike and tilting his head as if he were listening.

I almost missed MatPat's cameo. I was like: "I know that voice! But from where?" And then he said: "It's just a theory!" and I almost screamed.

I love that the kids have some significance. Even if they dont have names, they still have more to do than they ever did in the games.

Also, it's exactly 5 nights at Freddy's.

1 - Mike arrives and sees the Missing kids for the first time.

2 - Mike gets scratched by Foxy and Vannesa shows up to info dump.

3 - since Max is dead, Mike takes Abby there for the first time. He cleans up the place and Abby meets her friends.

4 - Mike takes Abby there a second time, Vannesa shows up, they build a Fort and Vannessa gets mad.

5 - Mike goes there alone and the movie finale happens.

I noticed the trailer was insanely misleading. Vanessa ends up in the hospital at the end of the movie, but the trailer made it seem it happens somewhere in the middle.

CoryXKenshin cameo was awesome.

The ending credits song is Five Nights at Freddy's by TLT. Woho!!!

And after all the credits roll, we get a few letters spelling out "FIND ME" like in SAVE HIM minigame from fnaf 2.

Theories:

I wonder what happened to Garrett. Is he fully dead? Or is he possessing something, like the puppet?

I hope the next movie is a prequel, maybe told retrospectively by Vanessa while some stuff happens in the present. And the third movie can be a sequel, maybe with older Abby being a guard herself.

OKAY. Finally the post with my thoughts on the FNaF movie.

First, non-spoiler thoughts: AUGH I LOVED IT!!! SO MANY THINGS THAT SURPRISED ME AND A FEW THAT MADE ME GO "IS THAT A REFERENCE???"

Anyways moving onto spoiler territory below the read more!

Hooooo boy how to start... I guess I'll just take it from the top.

That intro scene was really neat! Loved the thing with the mask as a reference to getting stuffed in a suit. Then of course there's the actual 8-bit intro which was *chef's kiss* and a quote-able moment.

Me, watching the kids get lured away: *dramatically* NO KIDS DON'T DO IT. DON'T TRUST HIM. NO YOU FOOL!! D:

It's not the exact stuff I said but that's the gist of it. :P

Anyways moving onto our boy Mike Schmitt... He totally went overboard with punching the guy. Like damn, just detain him.

Then there's his dau- I MEAN SISTER Abby because uh. Who was expecting that reveal? Very much caught me off guard and did me a confusion. Also autism solidarity~!

Okay, what next... The getting of a new job I suppose. One thing I wanna point out here that my mom actually noticed later on was that the guy giving the job looked like what would later be revealed as William Afton (maybe I should double check this fact but whatever). But her genius of connecting dots doesn't stop there!

So you know how the guy cuts himself off when saying Mike's full name upon getting to the last name? And how it was revealed William Afton kidnapped his little brother? Well my mom made the connection that the reason he cut himself off is cause he recognized the last name! Anyways I thought that was a really neat catch by my mom so I had to share! <3

Moving onto him actually getting the job, I first wanna say that the the restaurant looked soooooo cool! And the mini jumpscare with Balloon Boy was quite a surprise, and then followed by Mike turning it around? Hilarious. AND THEN THEY DO A SECOND TIME LATER. If it wasn't clear I found this very funny. And the first time it happened I was like "FAIR. I'd do that too."

Now the police woman being Vanessa was definitely a surprise! Tbh I haven't played or watched Security Breach cause one day I wanna play it myself so um. For future reference i'm not familiar with the lore of that game since I've actually done a really good job at avoiding any major spoilers.

As a quick side note, the quote of me saying "SOMEONE'S GONNA DIE~" happened when those idiots broke in to sabotage Mike. And since this slightly dipped into spoiler territory I didn't mention the fact a made a few variations of that. Things like "SOMEONE'S ABOUT TO DIE~" and "SOMEONE HAS DIED~".

Now for that actual sequence. First thing I wanna say is LOVED IT. Assholes kinda deserved it, although I did say stuff like "ya know, maybe you should get out of there...? That would probably be a good idea." knowing they were probably all gonna die anyways. And Bonnie in the closet? AWESOME REFERENCE TO FNAF 1. As for the final quotes for this section of the movie, it was during when the lady/final survivor was shown on screen. The moment I saw her I was like "YOU SHOULD REALLY GET OUT OF THERE." followed a few seconds later by me saying "oop- too late." once stuff happened since once the animatronics acknowledge you it seems like you're pretty much screwed unless you get lucky

Then Mike brought his d- sister Abby to the pizzaria I was like "DONT DO THAT" before shortly afterwards realizing that the animatronics weren't actually very likely to hurt her since she's a kid and not an adult. For a second I questioned this when she screamed but of course it's then revealed they were just tickling her. And speaking of that...

THE ANIMATRONICS INTERACTING WITH ABBY WAS AMAZING AND SWEET AND I AWW-ED MULTIPLE TIMES. It was also really cool to watch them move around. Like that and the scene where Bonnie fell over and then gave a thumbs up when asked if okay totally slayed me. And everyone in the fort just laying on the ground? That was adorable! Also that marionette/baby looking- hey wait a sec could that be a reference to Markiplier's FNaF 2 playthrough??- animatronic was so neat! At first I questioned if it was supposed to be the marionette but upon further inspection I was "yeah that probably is."

And then Mike ends up pissing the ghost kids off...

Poor guy gets torn apart in the dream world which we previously learned reflects onto his body in the real world. That was a big "oh shit" moment because I didn't consider that Vanessa would be there. And then, rightfully so, Mike grills her about how she knows everything she's told him so far and to my anger KEEPS DEFLECTING WITH THE SAME DAMN ANSWERS.

But eventually it's revealed thAT WILLIAM AFTON IS HER FATHER AND THAT'S HOW SHE KNOWS SO MUCH. I don't know if this is general knowledge from Security Breach that I avoided but DAMN did that catch both me and my mom by surprise! My mom even had a neat theory (albeit wrong) on why she knew so much which was that maybe Vanessa had been given to the ghost children/animatronics in an exchange in the past like how they wanted Abby, except that time it worked out. Which, again, was wrong, but I thought it was a really neat theory!

When Golden Freddy went to pick Abby up at first I was like "Freddy?? No, I'm pretty sure he doesn't look like that" but then the ghost kids represening Golden Freddy appears and it's like "YOOOOO GOLDEN FREDDY?! DANG HE LOOKS DIFFERENT."

I also wanna point out that I think it's neat how when he dropped off Abby and she looks behind her once at the entrance it reveals Golden Freddy is gone since he's always been one of the most ghostly animatronics.

And then shit goes down on a rescue mission for Abby...

Mike spilling the water to taser them was genius! For a moment I thought he was gonna get them to slip and fall first but hey. End result was the same. Then he saves Abby from Chica but UH OH they forgot about the cupcake! And to be fair, so did we. Although around that point I was like "I swear there's an animatronic I'm forgetting about..." which turned out to be Foxy which was a very "OH SHIT" moment since Foxy is by far the most lethal of the animatronics considering not only does he have a hook but he can run.

Then there's confrontation with William Afton!!! Man that was so cool!!!!!

Another "OH SHIT" moment was when he stabbed Vanessa/his own daughter. I was thinking to myself that "well she might survive!!! maybe!!!!!???" and then of course it's revealed later that she did survive but is in coma...

But anyways, back to the showdown, I loved how absolutely insane Afton was. It shocked me when he made the animatronics do what he wanted considering that he killed them but then it turns out he was manipulating them!!! D: Then it was Abby and her art skills to the rescue!

I thought it was dumb how instead of Afton being like "What, noooo, i didn't do that!" he was like "I CREATED YOU SO YOU OBEY ME." which of course didn't work out. And even if he had gone with playing dumb I think they still would've fucked Afton up anyways cuz it's clear they love and trust Abby. Then the animatronics attack and I'm sitting there going "SPRINGLOCK FAILURE, SPRINGLOCK FAILURE" and then right after that woopsie doopsie springlock failure screwed ye and I yelled "SPRINGLOCK FAILURE!!!!!!!!!" while still trying to somewhat use my inside voice. And then he started convulsing and bleeding and I'm like "FNAF 2 REFERENCE LETS GOOOO" and then when they dragged him away I was "into a backroom mayhaps??" a few times in which it is a revealed that yup. He got dragged into a back room. Then it cut to black and I say in a deep voice "I ALWAYS COME BACK."

And as anybody is obligated to when they hear the infamous song, I sang along to the credits! I didn't get tripped up by the cutoff/end credits scene with the song because I had seen a video on Youtube not long ago about the end credits (tho i did skip the cutscene) and I was like "I HAVE to know if it's that one FNaF 1 song" in which it brought me unbridled joy to know it was used! :D

As a final bit, there's 2 references I wanted to talk about. The first is a potential reference in the movie and the second is a reference i made.

When Mike was in the back room and saw all the assholes who tried to sabotage him I saw a very specific animatronic among them- a dog. And immediately my mind went "SPARKY THE DOG HOAX REFERENCE?!?!"

For the second thing, when Mike and Vanessa were talking about stuff and mentioned how they can't go back in time I said aloud something along the lines "Maybe find a ball pit?" Then there was the moment Abby hid in a ball pit and I was like "OH SHIT A BALL PIT. WASN'T ACTUALLY EXPECTING TO SEE ONE" and while it wasn't magical and I was pretty sure it wouldn't be since it was near the end of the movie it was still amusing.

AHHHHHHHH YOU FINALLY WATCHED IT!!!!!!!!!

I HAVE BEEN WAITING TO DUMP ALL MY FEELINGS ABOUT THE MOVIE! Ok so i would like to say i LOVE the cameos that movie is filled with. Like the youtubers who helped made Fnaf mainstream, the references to fnaf history in the fandom like Sparky’s diner referencing the made up animatronic people were talking about back in the olden days, MATPAT’S ICONIC CATCHPHARSE, and just a lot of stuff from the Fnaf fandom that’s just THERE in the movie. The whole time i was in the theatre, everytime i see an easter egg from something in the franchise as a whole, i would like go “HEY THAT BOOK IS REFERENCING DREAM THEORY” or “HEY THAT SPRINGLOCK SUIT LOOK QUITE SIMILAR TO CIRCUS BABY!” (The springlock suit is actually a reference to Ella from the books but if i remembered correctly, Ella herself had some connection to Circus Baby? I might be wrong but there’s that) It was fun seeing those easter eggs and feels rewarding to recognize it.

I love how the animatronics looked exactly the same as they looked in the games, whoever made them are incredible. Like omg they are actually there and have you seen Dawko’s video visiting the set? They were so expressive and just there. They just straight up came out of the games and are now in real life, i dont think i can ever get over my astonishment of the animatronics.

Now the plot, I honestly love the plot. A bit simple? Sorta but it made sense. It was perfect for newcomers to watch it without prior knowledge of fnaf but familiar enough that old fans enjoy it as well. The characters were amazing. I love Mike and Abby’s relationship as we see how much both of them mean to each other like the fact Mike will do anything to protect his sister and Abby adding Mike to her drawings most of the time, their interactions are just so cute and god i love it. Then we have Vanessa which was an unexpected surprise since we meet her in Security Breach but it was a weIcome surprise. Throughout the movie, i keep questioning how the hell does a police officer know so much about an old pizzaria, like sure she may be a super fan but that explanation didint satisfy me but then it turns out she’s William Afton daugther and my jaw was dropped. No wonder she knew so much about it and no wonder she was so weird to Mike about it. She was trying to protect him. But with her being in a coma now, my mind cant help but remember the “I will put you back together” scene. Ik William isnt there but yk, for some reason i think she’s going to have nightmares that are just Fnaf 4.

I also love the fact that the movie show that the animatronics are more than killing machines but children. The fort scene was honestly my favourite, at first it was funny because yk we have 4 clunky animatronics, 2 tired adults, and a very excited child trying their best to make a fort, funny stuff are absolutely going to happened and i laughed when Bonnie fell and just gave a thumbs up to show he’s okay. But then we get to see them laying down in their fort and i just saw 4 kids. 4 kids getting to actually be kids. Something they havent been since their deaths and the once what was funny became bittersweet. It just shows how tragic their death was and later we get to find out how their unknowingly working with the man behind their slaugther? It’s just sad.

Also what do you think of the plot holes they leave behind? Like what are the connection between Abby and the ghost children, we know she’s been drawing them way before Mike ever started working at the pizzaria? Could it be because she’s the puppet’s sister since there’s been theory that Garret is the puppet. The first one to be killed. And i actually believe that might be true with all the evidence we have but can that explain about Abby’s connection to the kids? No. Then there’s like the question about did anyone noticed the crooks that Aunt Jane hired dissapearance? Vanessa probably covered it up but im not too sure. Also wth did Mike do with his Aunts body? Im sure questions will arise for what happened to her in the neighborhood. But nevetheless Im sure that these answers will be answered in the sequel which we’ll see i guess.

Now how i think the brothers feel about the movie? Lucifer and Ik probably sympathise with Mike because the former is basically a single father taking care of his 6 children and the latter seeing her father in him. Mammon will have nightmares to the point that he scared to turn the lights off. Beel may or may not have second thoughts eating a cupcake after seeing Carl brutually murdering people (why the hell does the cupcake have a high body count than the others????). The rest is basically what you drew.

i had a great time watching it!! i didn't really notice the plot holes until i thought about it afterward, it was a brilliant romp and i think that's just what the fnaf movie needed to be

i was surprised that the emotional beats of mike's plot hit as well as they did, actually! i think bc the games aren't as much of a personal story, it's quite new to see this sort of things directly from a character's perspective. i think hutcherson's performance really made it tbh, mike's story would not have worked if not for his perpetual stressed sogginess

the cupcake was KILLING me this whole movie. why are you so mad!! that shot where it's mauling the dude's face off and chica just turns around and smiles at the other guy like ">:) i'm gonna get ya" was so funny

honestly my main complaint is just that i would've liked to see the animatronics go insane mode more... the pillow fort scene and Everything about bonnie was the cutest thing i've ever seen but also those kids deserve to go feral (though i have to say the cupcake being the one to trigger the springlocks was a masterstroke and so so funny)

we were all absolutely floored by max getting straight up BISECTED. shout out to jo for immediately hollering "WAS THAT THE BITE OF 87" (also she was the only one who caught the ella reference with the suit they were going to stuff abby into)

title sequence was incredible... loved the homage to the terrible pixel art in the games (music was also a absolute banger). OH YEAH when matpat showed up we all went silent out of shock except for james (the one who didn't know fnaf before) who went "ooh hello sailor-" and was promptly drowned out by me yelling "MATTHEW????? (satan and levi would be absolutely rioting over that scene)

in terms of theories... i'm not caught up on the popular ones but i do like the idea that mike is swapped over to being an emily (with vanessa sort of taking a similar role to the original mike afton) also james (did half a nursing degree) was hollering at vanessa immediately going near-death mode from what he said was a stab wound of the "inconsequential in the grand scheme of things" degree

i said something after the movie about how "oh it's such a shame markiplier couldn't do the film, he would've done a great job as the guy getting killed at the start" ONLY TO FIND OUT THAT APPARENTLY THAT WAS HIS INTENDED ROLE i'm psychic (what was with the spinning razor freddy mask though?? is william doing that?? is he sending people to the pizzeria to stick his spinny razor masks on them??)

i was drinking my tea when matthew lillard said The Line and could not participate in the revelry afterwards because i choked and started coughing for about two minutes straight.. kind of ruined the dramatic tension but someone had already started cackling at abby's drawing so really i'm not to blame

though the way they use kids' drawings within the narrative is genuinely great, and the twist with how they turn the animatronics against afton is super clever! i am also a firm believer in the fact that afton drew that original one himself and he's just SO bad at art

all in all!! really liked it! the cast's performances was great, the references were excellent, the inexplicable balloon boy jumpscares were perfect, and i WISH i could hug the animatronics so bad

was thinking about what the fnaf movie plot could be and then thought a bit More and came up with some rough movie timeline that would be cool to see (working with the span of 3 movies)

working with my limited knowledge of the lore and also not taking it seriously since its a movie adaptation! can be loose!

so heres my thoughts and ideas

1st movie: we follow mike and his sister after their mom died. where the female villain of the cast fits its either a babysitter or cps or someone like that not treating them well, though mike is old enough to take care of his sister alone but he struggles to do so, so he decides to look for their father himself (he left them years ago, maybe something to do with cc, if the kid in the car from the trailer is cc maybe he was taken away after the bite, either being hurt or its a metaphor and he died) here im thinking abby IS elizabeth, might be or might not be williams daughter no idea there, but i think ms. afton would have a great reason to divorce him if her kid got hurt/killed by williams creation. william obvs runs away from everything and hides behind fake names and personas to avoid consequences - therefore is hard to find

mike comes to the pizzeria because he knows his father is the ceo of fazent or something and wants to find more info on him to find him (while also making some money) theres several options, but whether its clear to him his father is the killer or not after finding out more stuff, william does end up getting custody over abby (and him, unless hes actually an adult here, but i think william would want to control him somehow)

on a happier note golden freddy kills the fem villain to help abby

movie 2: now that they (or at least abby) live with william, sister location is up next - yeah im skipping to fnaf 5 first - abby gets too friendly with animatronics and gets the baby treatment. mike gets nightmares about it (yay fnaf 4! he also gets nightmares about cc) this is like a side plot and here i came to wilder theories and stuff

idk how if he would threaten william or what but he would make him go release the souls from the og animatronics, this results in him getting springlocked meanwhile mike goes to sister location for his sister.. he gets the scoop and once he gets out, finds out what happened to his father and he encloses him in the room he "dies" in, movie could end with ennard escaping

movie 3: finally where we get to see fnaf 2, and pizzasim! timeskip or not, mike is looking for more buried info about the pizzerias/fazent, finds info on fredbears, then spends some time looking for henry, digs up old info about his daughter that william killed, there could be a nice flashback with the fnaf 2 animatronics or puppet at least and the main 4 (+1) while hes searching, he sees news about the fnaf 3 attraction and sees a familiar face. immediately gets a job there to be able to get closer and once he finds out his father is still not dead, tries to burn the place down with him, ofc he escapes so he puts all of his energy into finding henry to help him deal with this, they lure all of the animatronics in and another fire yayy

everyone dies. thats the end of the trilogy, as it should be

notes: movie 3 plot sounds like too much so parts of it could be moved to 2

for movie 1 im trying to make out the whole family situation but i feel like their mom dying after divorcing william a long time ago and getting full custody makes the most sense imo, paired up with the fact mike is looking after abby, so the death could be fresh and also set the mood to even more depressed and gloomy

i think mike calling william in the trailer is legit, could be william knows its him (keeping an eye on him from afar) or they genuinely both dont know yet whos on the other side of the line at that moment

also obviously vanessa saying the animatronics wanting to kill abby is a total lie, she might believe it herself but thats not true, i also dont know what her deal will be other than try to mess with mike

or theyre playing 5d chess and she is working closely with william, and making her name be an actual reference to vanny where she would be williams follower and perhaps keep a close watch on mike!

personal note: i like the idea of william killing other kids because of his own kids' demises, i obviously dont have the full timeline figured out but i like the idea of him killing charlie out of anger after losing elizabeth and/or cc, which doesnt fit into the movie verse here?

i also thought about them not including henry at all, and while it is possible, like having mike do the luring and killing and the fazent origins be only williams and there would be no puppet, only posession but i feel like that would take away a lot and i feel like most of the fandom doesnt want henry to be left out (especially if theres a chance we get to see fredbears in a flashback... imagine that)

Just imagine cassie surprised with Roxy/Roxanne wolf appear at her home for Thanksgiving dinner.

I've had a few AUs where this has been the situation recently, though they mostly involved just travelling to other Fazbear locations. Currently, given that the Fazbear Towers exist, I've been saying that's where a lot of the Plex employees live, including Cassie and her dad. If not, then they're still within walking distance at least so that's nice.

Anyway, if they live in the towers, they're apparently connected to the Pizzaplex via utility tunnels somehow so I suppose that place would be like... experiencing the world outside of the Plex but on training wheels for Roxy. It's not the Pizzaplex, but it's Pizzaplex adjacent so that's probably a good first step to take.

And also, everyone that lives in there are employees at the Plex so they all know Roxy and now Roxy knows where they all live. The absolute horror at not knowing about this and catching a glimpse of Roxy down the hall... the utter chaos at Roxy also being able to sneak around the offices and board room areas on the top floors... If the Bobbiedots are there, she's unintentionally giving them an identity crisis probably too lmao there's potential here

I feel like Roxy would mostly use these tunnels to go and wait in the flat for Cassie to come home from school. Just immediately leave the Pizzaplex ten minutes before she's due home and sits on their couch staring at the door until she walks in. It also means Cassie's dad and other employees she likes (such as Vanessa) just have no place that's completely Roxy Free anymore and while sometimes this is great and actually really helpful, it's also sometimes the stupidest, most irritating thing ever.

Also I dunno about Thanksgiving since that literally doesn't exist in my country, but Cassie coming home from school on her birthday or something to find Roxy in the flat for the very first time. It'd be a hell of a surprise I think lmao but also Cassie knows what Roxy is like so it doesn't take long at all before she gets worried Roxy broke out of the Plex, is at big risk of being scrapped or something, or just hasn't been caught breaking every rule ever yet. Her dad gets to explain to her that Roxy can come visit them now and Cassie has immediately jumped on the idea of a sleepover. It's a bit of a challenge figuring out how to get that to work, but she's determined enough to figure it out!

Now, if they live a bit further from the Plex, uhh these things sort of have to be planned a bit more. Roxy is going to need escorted back and forth quite a bit I'd say and it'd probably take a while before she and Cassie can make the walk unsupervised. It'd be a bit of a crazy situation for the locals too obviously cause uhhhhh did this kid just steal an animatronic??? Uhh??? What??? Did it escape???? Huh????

Especially if they do other stuff too like go to a shop or something. A lot of people are convinced this is a publicity stunt and a lot of videos of Roxy just existing appear online after the first outing. They start going later on a night and during school hours instead after that which decreases the amount of gawking a lot. A lot less people to care, ya know?

I bet the Plex gets an absolute shit ton of calls all the time about an escaped animatronic or a kid stealing one. Bet that's fun to deal with! I imagine the frequency would die down a lot after a while and the locals got used to her but I dont think they'd ever completely stop

From Roxy's perspective, the outside world is pretty overwhelming. She wants to see it and go exploring, but whether Mimic is dealt with or not, she'd have trouble leaving it unguarded. Well, not completely unguarded, but without her specifically guarding it. The idea of leaving it unattended like this is nerve wracking to her and it takes a lot before she's comfortable with this I'd say. Though, if Mimic hasn't been dealt with, I don't think she'd leave at all and if she did, it wouldn't be very far or for very long. It's a little bit different if there's still a massive threat there, ya know?

Being able to leave is pretty exciting though. The Minis have always been able to leave too so they get to go with her on little adventures to random local places. There always has to be someone with her though, and Cassie being the only one there is on very thin ice so uh yeah there's usually an adult with her. She doesn't really get why and thinks this rule is stupid, but she also doesnt know how to cross the road safely or that she can't just go around shoplifting and stuff so... it's admittedly very helpful.

She'd definitely want the others to get this opportunity too though. I mean, it's fun doing stuff with Cassie and her dad, but it's not fair that she can do this and her friends can't. And she can tell they're jealous as all fuck about this. Chica, Monty, Sunny, Moon and DJ are supportive and all but why can't they go too? Doesn't seem fair to her :(

okay my teacher is late to my eclasses by 15 minutes now so i might as well ramble abt security breach. i was. Hyped. for security breach. i was excited dude i was fucking. Ecstatic when the first trailer came out. because the first trailer was. very reminiscent of old fnaf, i think. the music, the vibes of it all. it felt like scott was steering the franchise in like, a good direction again . but then . The Thing. happened. and it steel wool presumably had to take the wheel on a franchise they didnt create and have it released by the end of the year. and its visible they never passed their driving exam.

im sure the devs tried their best. but also. i feel like a lot of stuff was just. shoehorned in. security breach has two games in it. the first one was created by scott, the second was created in an attempt to save a sinking ship that had millions of dollars shoved into it. and to be clear - i dont blame the devs. because. they were left in charge of a project theyd need YEARS to rework. its obvious the pizzaplex wasnt done and it wasnt in working condition so they presumably decided to solve it by possibly removing a free roam aspect and guiding your hand through the game. and while im very sure that stuff like the glamrock freddy friend aspect was SUPPOSED to be in the game because like, it was leaked w the funko figures, i dont think it was supposed to be nearly as prominent as it ended up being.

comparing the two security breach trailers is. jarring. the first one feels like at least a SLIMMER of what watching the fnaf 2 trailer for the first time did, the second is. cartoony, almost. its obvious Something switched in development and what we ended up with is an almagamation that is neither a fnaf game, nor a good game. because like. we never got to hear ANYTHING abt who was speaking in the first teaser trailer and vanessa spoke to us maybe. once. in game?

i like security breach and its characters bc i think theyre like. fun. they look fun theyre fun designs on their own but theyre not animatronics. but i also really just hate a lot of things abt it. watching markiplier struggle through a washing machien section for half an hour was one of the most dreadful experiences of my life because i saw the franchise that literally fundementally shaped me as a person dissolve in front of my eyes for what felt like the thousandth time.

i just kinda refuse to acknowledge it as canon...? like genuinely jokes aside. i HATE the glamrock freddy posession and robot-greggory theories going strong in the community. its just. graugh !!!

security breach is a shiny ad in the style of poppy playtime. not a horror game. and that sucks.

I dont wanna accept it as canon either. it feels like a weird fanfic meets fangame thing. overall the game just feels really unfinished and empty, like theres supposed to be more but there just...Isnt.
